Listen "601 Changing the World Starts with Changing Me"
Episode Synopsis
Monday, September 22nd: When we look at the chaos in our world—wars, injustice, political division—it’s easy to ask, How can we change things? But in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus directs us to start not with “them,” but with ourselves. He begins with anger and contempt, showing that these are the root fuels for violence and destruction. Without them, history’s darkest chapters would never have happened. In this episode, we explore Jesus’ teaching to stop retaliating, to refuse judgment, and to first remove the plank from our own eyes. The real answer to the problem of evil is not outrage or control—it’s surrendering our will, present, and future to God. Change in the world begins with change in me.Email me your questions, comments, and suggestions. I'd love to hear from you! If y'all wanna talk more 'bout this, I'm all ears. Just give me a holler.
