In today’s Coffee with the Superintendent, we step into 1 Samuel 13:16–23 where Israel found itself surrounded, unarmed, and seemingly powerless against the Philistines. From a New Covenant perspective, this passage reveals humanity’s helplessness without Christ and the hope that He alone equips His people for victory.
