In today’s Coffee with the Superintendent, we reflect on 1 Samuel 11:12–15 and the renewal of the kingdom at Gilgal. This passage points us to the greater King, Jesus Christ, who brings true salvation, mercy, and peace. We explore how Israel’s joy in Saul’s coronation foreshadows our eternal joy in Christ, the King who reigns forever.


In the Second Pour, we celebrate birthdays for Ryan Usher, one of our alumni, as well as Bryce in 11th grade, Leah in 7th grade, and Victoria in 5th grade. Lunch today is cheeseburgers and fries.
