Thom has identified ten simple adjustments to our government that, if enacted, would lead us to a democracy that represented us better - all of us. The goal with these laws is fourfold: to stem corruption and the influence of special interests. To encourage the people to participate in democracy more. To encourage better leaders and legislators to appear - not just those hungry for power, fame and money. And, just as important, to reduce the power of the two parties.
