Paul Chater is a retired radio and television broadcaster who began his career announcing on the PA at Mosport’s legendary Turn 5 (Moss Corner). Throughout his career Paul has worked covering motorsports for CTV, CBC, NBC, and TSN to name a few. Paul also attended the first races at Mosport in June of 1961 and was a regular spectator through the early years including at the first Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix in 1967. After a successful broadcasting career that took him all over the world, Paul stayed involved in racing on the public relations and marketing side until retiring after 25 years in the business.
