Cecil Harris is a writer who has covered major sporting events and is the author of four books including Different Strokes: Serena, Venus, and the Unfinished Black Tennis Revolution; Breaking the Ice: The Black Experience in Professional Hockey. Jerry Zezima writes a humor column and has authored six "crimes against literature" books: "Leave It to Boomer," "The Empty Nest Chronicles," "Grandfather Knows Best," "Nini and Poppie's Excellent Adventures," "Every Day Is Saturday" and "One for the Ageless." Marc Rappaport invented and was awarded a patent for the geothermal-solar hybrid system in 1978, and worked on a biomass power project that led to founding Biomass One, L.P. and a 22 MW plant in Medford, OR.
