Joe Lawlor is a renaissance man within the Dave Matthews Band camp and a legend amongst the fanbase. From his duties as the band's live recording engineer, archivist, real-time setlist updater, to his ripping on-stage appearances, Joe has seen and done it all throughout his 20+ year career touring the world with DMB. He was generous enough to sit down with us for more than 2 hours to discuss his musical background outside of DMB, taking the stage for the first time with them in 2006, his favorite DMB show of all time, a little bit of new album talk and SO much more.
