Using Mary Douglas' book "Leviticus as Literature" she shows how God created separations between animals, people and things.  This separation helps us understand Leviticus a little more. Leviticus is a book about the common and uncommon, the pure and the impure.  It's important to understand those distinctions and how they work.  In this episode, Veronica also start to lay the foundation for sacrifices.
