If we want to grow in faith, it is imperative that we ask ourselves - what competes with faith in our lives? What hinders us from being able to walk in faith? If faith comes by listening to the Word of God, then the reverse is true as well. Our faith is decreased when we listen to things that are contrary to the Word of God. Unbelief and doubt come into our lives when we give our ear to other things. What are you focused on? Your own opinions or the opinions of other people? The lies of the enemy? Shift your focus to the Faithful One and to His word, and your faith will increase!Faith is not something God expects us to muster up on our own. In fact, true faith doesn’t come from us at all! It is precious to realize that faith is something God forms in us as we focus on Him, cultivating intimacy with Him through prayer and His Word. Do you want to increase in faith?
