On the Season Finale Derval discusses the concept of Smart Cities with Stephan James.  Stephan is a techie, entrepreneur, social impact enthusiast and founder of Parkt. Inspired by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, this environmentally conscious startup provides sustainable solutions to real problems, beginning with parking and expanding into other areas such as lighting, waste management, and more. Parkt is aligned with Goal 11 of the SDGs: Sustainable cities and communities. The platform allows persons to pre-book parking, offer vacant spaces for parking, maximizing efficiency and ultimately reducing the carbon footprint in urban areas.
