Listen "Voting Rights in 2021 "
Episode Synopsis
The fight for voting rights has been a fight from the beginning of our country. The civil war amendments were meant to create equity and equality in voting, but Jim Crow made that reality short-lived. Unfortunately, this was not a reality for many until the modern civil rights movement and the passage of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. But in the last decade, we've seen a major attack on access to the voter box. In this episode of The Claville Report, we'll explore the history, importance, and current state of voting rights in America. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
