Listen "Episode 139: Autism Spectrum Disorder"
Episode Synopsis
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people learn, interact, communicate, and behave. Symptoms generally appear within the first 2 years of life, but many do not receive a final diagnosis until much older. The Classical Academies’ Special Education team members, Lauren Geis and Alicia Luschei share early childhood signs of ASD and provide helpful strategies for management, including establishing and maintaining a visible routine and schedule, using concrete language, and providing consistent opportunities for positive peer interactions.https://embrace-autism.com/https://embrace-autism.com/aq-10/
