The Resistance (also known as the #Resistance) began as an American liberal political movement that protests the presidency of Donald Trump. It was established as a grassroots movement on January 19, 2017, and has since grown to include not only Democrats, but Independents and Republicans against Trump. Members of the movement are known for their prolific use of Twitter, especially the "#Resist" hashtag.
"Not My Presidents Day" was a series of rallies against the president of the United States, Donald Trump, held on Washington's Birthday, February 20, 2017. Protests were held in dozens of cities throughout the United States. Demonstrations were also held outside London's Houses of Parliament, and in Orkney.
