Episode Synopsis
Listen in on Part 2 of Kennetta Calloway's 1:1 coaching session. Kennetta retired from the federal government then made a professional pivot. She started a nonprofit, Broken Chains, Inc., to provide vital resources, housing and even job readiness for returning citizens.
We revisit Kennetta in week four of her 4-week coaching package. I give Kennetta feedback on the pitch deck she’s developed as part of my program, and guidance on how to speak conversationally alongside her slides versus reading from them. At first the presentation lacks warmth and it is obvious she is reading data directly from the slides. I show her how to make a scripted speech/presentation sound more comfortable with my Underscored technique.
