In the last decade or so we've seen a more radical shift toward not only a difference of opinion between church and culture but the growing belief in the culture that the churches positions are dangerous and need to be silenced our positions on sexuality on pre-born life on social justice on these key social issues and because the church has not been well prepared to defend our beliefs we have mistakenly assumed that if people are angry with us or vehemently disapprove of us or even talk about shutting us down or silencing us we must be doing something wrong so we need to adjust our message or withhold our message
