Send a Text - Feedback WelcomeTechnology is all around us and increasing in relevance and role within Construction.  Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one limb of IT, but one that appears everywhere and which many see as a powerful disruptor to the sector.  Vassos Chrysostomou, COO of AIFORSITE UK Ltd talks to Mark about what AI is and what he believes the role of the technology is and will be within construction.  Vassos sees AI providing managers within the sector with huge powers of awareness and intelligence, assimilating large amounts of information in real-time to allow much better decisions and a much greater awareness of the challenges and issues facing a project.  He also sees the greatest beneficiaries being the tradesmen and women working on our sites with communication tools to support their work.  This is the true democratisation of knowledge.  Vassos explains that the industry must get the understanding and presentation of the technology right if it is to be adopted wholesale.  If this happens, then every single construction company with an aspiration for survival needs to make an investment in the technology to start their journey to benefit from the opportunity of better and directed information.
