Listen "Mark talks to Andrew Carpenter"
Episode Synopsis
Send a Text - Feedback WelcomeStructural timber has been a construction product for as long as humans have been building. As the UK becomes more sustainable so must the construction industry. Reverting back to timber as a significant solution to our structural challenges is an obvious answer. Andrew Carpenter is the CEO of the Structural Timber Association and the best person to help the industry navigate the road to doubling the amount of structural timber used within our sector. Andrew talks about the support that his members can give the industry and their focus on quality to support efficient delivery and durable structures. Timber is certainly one of the winners of a decarbonising construction industry and we will all have to be more familiar with its use and benefits.
