Listen "THE BLUFF COUNCIL PODCAST: Ep. 37 - "Armageddon""
Episode Synopsis
An asteroid is heading for Earth, and it's a GLOBAL KILLER. The only people who can save the day are Michael Bay and Bruce Willis. In this episode, Keith and Ev discuss "Armageddon," the 1998 disaster/action film directed by Bay and starring Willis, Liv Tyler, Ben Affleck, Billy Bob Thornton, Steve Buscemi, Michael Clarke Duncan, Owen Wilson, and thankfully, Eddie Griffin. Mr. Hooper shows up too, which is nice. "Armageddon" only has a 38% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and Ev is not very pleased and chooses to insult Roger Ebert's estate. Keith, all of a sudden, claims to have taste. It's a whole thing. Is this movie really that bad? Is the premise stupid? Is the love story forced? Is it OK to like Michael Bay movies? HARD HITTING STUFF HERE.
