Listen "Mental Health, Positive Thinking and Mindfulness in the Outdoors"
Episode Synopsis
Mental wellbeing, positive thinking, and mindfulness are the topics and the areas of expertise of the three guests on this episode of The Blue Fish Radio Show. Author Paul Michael White has just released his 3rd book “Tales of the Great Outdoors” and discusses the benefits of outdoor therapy over that of the couch. Fly fisher Morgan McLean, former Steelhead and salmon guide and now a member of Canada’s fly-fishing team about to compete in the Commonwealth Games, reflects on the importance of mental preparedness and positive attitude. And, Alexandra Euteneier, a practicing psychotherapist and outdoor mindfulness instructor, offers a more spiritual approach to forming meaningful “one health” connections with nature. Lots to think about, but more importantly, a ton of great ideas for feeling and doing better.
