Listen "Trust and Leadership with Dr. Ryan McComb"
Episode Synopsis
What if the systems you need to grow aren’t about scaling faster, but leading with more clarity and care?
Dr. Ryan McComb has built one of the top Invisalign practices in Los Angeles. But what sets him apart isn’t just the numbers. It’s how he leads with intention, trust, and the kind of structure that helps people thrive. In this episode, Ryan shares how he started from scratch (twice), why team happiness became his north star, and what he’s still learning about boundaries, balance, and letting go of the hero role.
"I want to go into my office and be happy. And if I want my patients to be happy, my team needs to be happy."
We talk about:– The moment he realized most team problems are actually system problems– What changed when he stepped out of the way and gave his team space to grow– Why he created a role called “Chief of People” (and how it transformed his team)– What he learned from losing an entire department in one year– How parenting shaped his leadership style in unexpected ways– Why perfection was never the goal—but purpose was
Ryan is honest, thoughtful, and full of insights for any practice owner or team leader building something with heart. This one is grounded, reflective, and full of real talk about what it takes to grow a team, stay human, and lead for the long haul.
