An afternoon with the Central Park Karen in 2020 opened the world's eyes to the dangers of "birding while Black." Christian Cooper made it out of the situation safely but it forever changed his life and had an undeniable effect on the birding community as a whole. Cooper has now made it his life mission to introduce birding to minority communities and National Geographic is helping make that happen with his new show "Extraordinary Birder."  Dr. Christian Greer, a birder herself, is elated to welcome Cooper to The Blackest Questions.
