Listen "I finished 75 Hard"
Episode Synopsis
I cried a little this morning in a good way. Finished 75 hard yesterday and feel so accomplished. I woke up one Sunday morning after watching @mrsdukesfitspo for a few weeks and said that’s it I’m doing this and starting today. It was my grandson's birthday party day, I knew there’d be cake and celebratory food but made that commitment to myself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I had been feeling out of sorts for a while, like not having control over myself & some parts of my life. I thought this is something I could control and I did! Not only did I do the daily tasks but what I learned is I can still accomplish things, I don’t have the patience anymore with excuses, and that I really enjoy structure lol. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The 18 pounds I lost was just the icing on the cake. My goal after cancer for the last 6 years was to get back to my normal weight of 128. Not that weight is important but my body had been so inflamed for years and my hormones were a mess. It didn’t help that I ate dinners out most nights and well had my wine or tequila 4 nights a week. I kept giving up on myself. Well not anymore! Now it’s time for the hard work to maintain and stay consistent with the lessons I learned. 💪🏼. I’m pretty proud of myself right now 😊 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are the tasks completed 75 outdoor workouts (walks with listening to podcasts) 75 workouts ( mostly weights, some yoga & Peloton rides) 750+ pages read (I read way more) 75 gallons on PLAIN water 75 progress pictures 75 days of following my macros by clean eating with no cheats or alcohol
