Nelson, Ph.D., is a professor, doctoral program coordinator and associate dean of the Human Development and Education department at North Dakota State University. She breaks down shame, guilt, humiliation and embarrassment. Shame can take many forms to cause feelings of stupidity or unworthiness. But there’s hope as Dr. Nelson shares how you can work through your own shame and help support others who are feeling shame.
