Welcome back to the Bayside Bubble!On this weeks episode Deb Brook, president of the Bayside Community Emergency Relief Charity, joins us to share with us some of the incredible work that they having been doing over the past two years since launch.Founded in the midst of the January 2020 bush fires, Deb and her team have grown this charity to provide aid relief for emergency floods, storms and fires, as well as providing on-going support for aged care, families experiencing domestic violence, and homelessness.Deb discusses running a 100% volunteer run charity and we learn more about the amazing effort behind designing and putting together relief packs for those in need.We hear about the process leading up to Christmas and what we in the community can do to help.
