Life as a young adult is not easy. Young adults are navigating many transitions in the middle of a variety of hardships ranging from leaving families in the midst of a pandemic to learning how to manage an array of emotions. Although it may feel lonely, Jesus promises us in John 16:33 that He is with us in the hard times and He gives us His peace & confidence as we rest & trust in Him. Together, as a community, BASIC values that in the midst of the hardship – we get to embrace that Jesus made us well, is making us well, and we will be made well through Him. Our physical, mental, and relational wellbeing matters to God now and in the future. We take steps forward towards being well knowing that God's promise is always “Let’s do this together.”
The BASIC Worship Community is a college and young adult ministry focused on uniting people to join in the work that Jesus is doing to bless a broken world. BASIC meets weekly in Cedar Falls, IA. Thursdays | 8p
