All throughout the Bible God has appointed many people to accomplish his will. Most of the time these were unlikely people who would not stand out among a crowd, but God raises these men and women up to do might things to reveal how powerful He actually is. In Jeremiah 38:1-13, there is a man names Embed-melech, who God appointed to save Jeremiah, the prophet, from a cistern he was thrown into. Jeremiah was left for dead, but because of Embed's bravery he was able to gather 30 mighty men to pull Jeremiah out of the muddy death trap, saving the prophet and more importantly obeying God's divine will. No one is perfect, but God can use anyone to accomplish His will, that includes the least of these here on earth.
