Michelle Sharp! Where to start!
She is best known for her role as Chief Executive of Christchurch-based impact organisation Kilmarnock Enterprises.
Together with the incredible team, she took them on a journey of transformational change, transitioning Kilmarnock from a charity-based model to one of New Zealand’s leading social enterprises.
Prior to that, she spent over one and a half decades working in the Telecommunications sector, one that she has now returned to. Driven by business excellence and social change, she's now embarking on a new journey with the team at Vodafone. Here she aims to bring the best of the world’s digital innovation and inspiration to all New Zealanders and use digital innovation to drive positive impact for our communities.
She also has the privilege of holding multiple directorships including that of Kilmarnock, Nutrient Rescue and the Akina Foundation. Lastly, she is a proud Edmund Hillary Fellow and Independent Chair of BNZ Bank.
In this conversation, we talk about Kilmarnock's journey and how it eventually managed to certify as the worlds first not for profit B Corp.
