This week the Mavens talk with two-time Guinness World Record Holder, Dave Farrow. 
Holding the record for Most Decks of Playing Cards Memorized in a Single Sighting (which he reclaimed after someone else broke it), Farrow’s achievement is even more impressive when taking into account the fact that he was born with ADHD and Dyslexia, which he says admittedly gave him a sub-par memory at birth. But instead of being held back, he used this as a motivation to further understand his own brain, sending him on one of the most exciting journeys in overcoming what many would call a major setback.
With the Mavens, Farrow discusses his favorite techniques in improving memorization, the importance of challenging one’s brain, and how you can manipulate your own brain and mind into becoming as skilled as Farrow.
