This week, the Media Mavens talk with Alison Levine, leader of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition.
       After reading a lot of books while recuperating from a few major surgeries, Alison Levine was inspired to create her own experiences and began her climbing career. Since then, Levine has climbed upon some of the world’s most famous expeditions, including Mt. Kilimanjaro, Denali, and one of the most well known treks, Mt. Everest. Levine also published her book On The Edge, which details many of her climbing experiences.
