In this episode of a StoneWalls Perspective Podcast, Alex gives his heart for the broken and lost. Recently, Alex, listened to a song called World Needs Jesus, and he was convicted and burdened for the lost and the broken. We live in a lost world who needs Jesus, yet we are sitting on the sidelines as people are losing their souls. Let us no longer be comfortable in the way that we live, but let Christ be magnified in ALL that we do. The other day, after listening to the song World Needs Jesus, he sent this text to his contacts list:This song broke me. And by broke, I mean that it absolutely convicted me. How am I living my life? How am I walking? How am I drawing people closer to Christ? How am I honoring what God has called me to do?I hope that the world sees me as someone who is a follower of Christ. Something that one of my coaches said this morning in devotional after workout was “when was the last time that you went out of your way to love someone who was hurting?”After hearing that, it convicted me. I am not looking out for those who are hurting, but I should. That’s what Jesus did. He lived that out. He helped those who were hurting and broken, so why don’t I?
