Episode Synopsis
Risa Haasbroek lives with her husband and two grown children in Maryland, USA. The family is originally from South Africa. They were privileged enough to move to the US six years ago when Risa’s husband got a wonderful job opportunity.
Once her kids, whom she homeschooled, started to attend college Risa decided to train as a life coach. With a background in psychology it was a perfect pivot for her.
Her own relationship with her mother was fraught with bitterness and guilt. With the grace of Christ, she repaired and restored that relationship. Now, as a certified life coach, she helps other Christian women to feel better about their mothers and also like and respect themselves more.
