This week we are starting something new... We are going to have an Abundant Life Accelerator to focus on each day of the week.

Today is Thoughtful Thursday
 Today do something thoughtful for someone else. Connect them with something they need or do something to make their day. 
This is the purpose and community accelerator. 
We each have a unique gifting that is meant to serve the community of people around us, and one of the ways to do this is by looking for opportunities to help people with your gifts, talents, resources, network, etc.

This month we are talking about Resetting the Imagination. 
And something for us to reset our imagination to is that God's favor surrounds us like a shield. 
A lot of what is playing in our imagination is determined by what we are focused on. 
Hebrews 12:2 tells us to, "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
When Peter had his eyes fixed on Jesus he could walk on water, but when his focus was off he began to sink. 
In today's communion we are asking God to help us fix our eyes on Jesus so that we can walk by faith at greater levels. 
 
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In just about every exercise the proper head/eye position is to look straight ahead and slightly up. Lift up your eyes.
