Tri-Cap Evansville offers Family Planning Services and Health Resource Navigation Services. They are a Title 10 Federal Agency that cannot discuss abortions or recommend those services, however they offer contraceptives, pap smears and STD testing and treatment for both men and women. They are open to all that come in. It is not just a low income service, they accept all insurance and also have a sliding scale fee to help those who need financial assistance. They receive products at manufacturer's cost and can pass those savings on to their clients. They can even work out a payment plan if you are between insurances for family planning medications and supplies you may need.
As Resource Navigators, they can help you go through the steps of how to understand difficult health insurance questions including helping a client to apply or re apply for Medicaid.
