On Monday morning on "Get Up," former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky said that Darnold "is absolutely capable of taking this team back to the NFC Championship Game." Really? What does that mean? And is that at all disrespectful to Brock Purdy?

Plus, late last week, long-time 49ers beat reporter Matt Maiocco said that Darnold "might be the most talented thrower of the football the 49ers have ever had." That's a joke, right? There's no way the 49ers actually feel that way about Darnold, right? What is Maiocco getting at here and is there a chance the 49ers view Darnold as anything more than a stop-gap backup quarterback?

Also, 49ers general manager John Lynch recently tried to explain the team's pick of Michigan kicker Jake Moody in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Do you buy this explanation?
