We falsely think we can get what we want from God when we fulfill an arbitrary action the way kids think they can get anything with a "please".  We've been so consumed with pleasing ourselves and others that it has become impossible to please God with these divided desires.  We think God is scrutinizing our every action, yet He is our Father who simply desires closeness with us.  Join us as we begin our Not by Sight series and Pastor Jules illustrates the futility of people pleasing and the reward that comes with pleasing God. Learn more about us at tfhoakland.org
