Listen "Young Afghan teachers are overcoming the challenges of girl education"
Episode Synopsis
Afghanistan is isolated from the global community. Girls are forced to drop out of high school. Girls and women aren't allowed to participate in public life. As poverty has risen in Afghanistan, so has child trafficking and many parents are marrying off their young daughters. Today, I have the opportunity to speak with a young Afghan teacher, Ms. Hadia Khairzada, who is overcoming all these challenges to prepare young girls for the future.Like the show?
