Listen "Tennessee Pays $4.5M to Fired Coach Banks"
Episode Synopsis
The University of Tennessees former defensive coordinator, Tim Banks, is set to receive a hefty payout of over four and a half million dollars following his departure from the team. Banks, who was recently given a significant contract extension and raise, will be paid for the remaining value of his contract, which includes two full years and approximately seven additional weeks. Despite his successful run with the team, including guiding a dominant defense in 2024, Banks contract includes standard mitigation language, which could reduce the amount Tennessee ultimately owes him. Linebackers coach William Inge will take over as interim defensive coordinator for the upcoming Music City Bowl on December 30th.The Daily News Now! - Every city. Every story. AI Powered.
