Failed fruit is the story-line of not only Ezekiel Chapter 15, but of the story of Israel. From the beginning, the Lord called Israel to not only be His People, but to be a Faithful People to produce forth fruit for Him and for others, to point the nations to the Lord--but Israel failed. They forgot their purpose and persisted in their sin of disobedience.                                However, the story does not end with Ezekiel Chapter 15, but through Israel's failure, it points us straight to the One who is the True Vine, the Faithful Vine, who is Christ.The bottom-line is this: because Jesus is FAITHFUL, God's People who are connected into an abiding relationship with Him, will be FRUITFUL!
