Don Marsh, the Public Works Director joins the TehachaPod crew to talk about road conditions and future projects in the City of Tehachapi. We talk about how the roads are funded, planned, and maintained. His team has invested time into surveying all 163 miles of City of Tehachapi roadways and has put together plans for maintenance and rehabilitation of all roads. Don also talks about communicating with the Planning Department to try and tie in projects so the roadways are impacted once rather two or more times in the same area.
