Aaron Falk the President and CEO of the Kern Coummunity Foundation comes into the TehachaPod studios to talk to us about the upcoming Give Big Kern Day on May 3. He explains how the Kern Community Foundation helps nonprofits throughout the county and several here in Tehachapi. They also provide services to nonprofits to run more efficiently and assist in setting up nonprofits. Aaron talks about the successes throughout the past several years of charitable giving by the Kern County community. He talked about how more than $800,000 was raised on Give Big Kern Day in 2021 and the money was distributed to 129 local nonprofits.
