Now comes Amazon’s big upgrade… Alexa+. It is the company’s next gen AI assistant that can converse on just about any topic…take on a pretty wide range of tasks…entertain and inform. Amazon will charge about 20 dollars a month for Alexa+….but…it comes free to Amazon Prime subscribers. And a subscription to Prime is actually cheaper than Alexa+ a la carte. Hmmm. It will be rolling out to a wide range of existing Alexa devices….even phones and computers. But the earliest devices getting it will be the Echo Show 8, 10, 15 and 21.
