Back in the 70s…the readership was as high as 8 million. And Ford audio visual archivist Shelby Long says the magazine wasn’t just about cars..
“I mean it’s fashion. There are thousands of recipes, guides to road trips,.” There’s at one point a kitchen of the future kind of piece as well.. “Yes, yes, that’s one of my favorites. It’s suppose to be a prediction that the kitchen will eventually become obsolete.”
