Listen "CareYaya and students using tech to transform caregiving"
Episode Synopsis
Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. Having just earned a degree as a pre-med student at Georgetown University, Anthony Altobelli is looking forward to a career in medicine. And he plans to continue his work for CareYaya, that is using the latest technology an AI to offer private caregiving services utilizing thousands of students across the country who are entering medical fields. The students are paid…and the costs to families and those in need of care are far lower than usual. And the caregiving from the students, like Anthony, is making all the difference..“During my time with CareYaya, I’ve had the pleasure to care for three different families and I think one of the biggest things I’ve taken away from it is, as an aspiring physician, you learn about the patient interactions. You learn about what is needed as a caregiver.”And the importance of listening. Altobelli was among the guests on the latest edition of the What’s Next Living Longer Better Smarter podcast…which I co-host with Mary Furlong. You can find us at Techstination.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
