Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.  Elon Musk isn’t the only one mapping out plans for humanoid robots.  Beyond Imagination is creating robots called Beomni…designed to be all purpose.  They’ve already received an order for at least one thousand  from SELF Labs to use in automated grow boxes for agriculture over the next five years.  CEO Dr. Harry Kloor…has attracted an A list of partners.   And he says the Beomni robots are coming soon….
“The reason we’re starting with grow boxes and our second application is in surgical assistance is that there’s a limited number of tasks in a closed environment.  Same thing in a surgical room with robots not doing any cutting but is assisting the surgeon.”
