Barry's guest for this episode is Gary Winham. Gary is a senior identity developer at Cirrus Identity, which he joined upon retiring from the University of Arizona in 2023 after 28 years of service. A "builder" who is passionate about developing elegant solutions to challenging problems, Gary has over 3 decades of experience in higher education information technology -- including software development, enterprise systems architecture, identity and access management, and cloud technologies. During his tenure at the University, he played a key role in architecting and managing several foundational IT services, including UA NetID/NetID+, WebAuth, Shibboleth, EDS, and Grouper.
