In the midst of a presidential election in uncertainty, we can extract a great lesson from this. Every election is essentially a "referendum" on the incumbent - do you want more of the same or change? It truly can be that simple.

So inside of your life, if you were to do a "self-referendum" on the various areas of your life, would you vote for more of the same or would you vote for change? Would you vote to remove the person you've been from office and replace you with someone different, or would you keep doing what you're doing?

It's something kind of deep to think about and despite all the chaos, confusion and anger brought about by this election, I think we could all use a self-referendum of our lives and move forward accordingly.
