This is week 7 of going through the Bible in 13 messages. God has a plan and a purpose to redeem and restore His special creation: you and me! Yet at every turn, that promise is in peril. God raises up judges to turn the people back to Him and keep his promise on track. As soon as the judge dies, the people forget. God raises Samson who really has no interest in God's promise, God's faithfulness or God's plan. And yet God uses Samson to fulfill His Divine destiny! The little known fact is that the nation of Israel was on the brink of extinction when Samson came around. Even though Samson didn't care, God did! And God's purposes prevailed.
