Happy Friday everyone and welcome to Teach to Grow Episode 3: The Why! In today’s episode, Maryam and I tackle the topic of recognizing the why behind the behaviors. Behaviors are a form of communication, but can look different for each of our students. We chat about how to understand what your child is trying to communicate to you through this behavior. Our challenge to each of you is to take a few minutes today or throughout the week to reflect on your WHY. Why do you wake up to go to school? Why are you a teacher? Why do you stay during difficult situations with your kids? Honesty with yourself will help you grow into a stronger educator and benefit your kids.
