Episode Synopsis "Ep. 1: Being a Percussionist During A Global Pandemic (with Dr. Ben Cantrell and Marcus Spinks)"
Hello and welcome to the first episode of Teach Talk with the Fine Arts! I am your host, Sarah Noel. I am a percussionist and I taught choir and theater full time for a year. I have always had a passion for Fine Arts education. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, pretty much all education went online, including music, which was pretty difficult from my perspective and I am super curious to see how other art educators were affected. This experience inspired me to start this podcast so that others can share their experiences. I hope you stick around to listen! The guests of this episode are Dr. Ben Cantrell and Marcus Spinks. Marcus and I attended Concord together for a year and Dr. Cantrell was our percussion instructor. I hope you enjoy this episode!
