John Kreng was born in Washington DC, the son of the Cambodian Ambassador to the U.S. He is of Chinese and Thai descent. He started practicing martial arts at the age of 12.  John trained with several world champions and even competed on the national level until he incurred an injury.  This injury pushed him to pursue his other passion, comedy, which he honed at the Comedy Cafe in DC.  He then moved out to LA to further his career and performed at the Comedy Store for over 10 years.  Once he burned out on comedy he became a stunt coordinator, fight choreographer and stuntman.
